Delivering Emergency Food Baskets to Flood-Affected Families in Sylhet
Our field emergency response team distributed dry food, purified drinking water, and essential medicines to over 1,200 vulnerable households.
In response to the recent devastating monsoon floods in northeastern Bangladesh, Sunbulah Welfare Association mobilized immediate ground rescue and humanitarian assistance missions.
With the dedicated support of local community volunteers and generous donors, our emergency vehicles navigated submerged roads to reach remote, water-isolated villages in Sunamganj and Sylhet.
Key Impact Highlights:
- Over 1,200 food packages containing rice, lentils, cooking oil, salt, and oral rehydration salts (ORS) distributed.
- Mobile medical support camp established treating waterborne illnesses and pediatric dehydration.
- Emergency water purification tablets supplied to 450 households.
We extend our deepest gratitude to every supporter whose generosity makes rapid emergency relief possible. Our team remains on the ground monitoring post-flood rehabilitation needs.
