By visiting this website, making a charitable contribution, applying to become a volunteer, or entering into an institutional partnership with Sunbulah Welfare Association (SWA), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Sunbulah Welfare Association is an independent, non-profit, and non-political organization founded in 2004 and serving humanitarian needs across Bangladesh under official government registration and Islamic charity standards.
In accordance with Islamic principles of Amanah, SWA treats donor instructions with utmost fidelity. Donors may designate their contributions for specific causes:
All donations remitted from foreign countries (e.g., Middle East, UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia) are received through designated Foreign Currency (FC) bank accounts authorized by the Central Bank of Bangladesh and the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB).
Project implementation utilizing foreign contributions strictly adheres to FD-6 / FD-7 project approvals issued by the Government of Bangladesh to ensure total legal transparency and accountability.
Under Islamic jurisprudence and charity laws, charitable contributions are irrevocable gifts (*Hiba*) made for the sake of Allah and the welfare of beneficiaries. Therefore, donations cannot be refunded once disbursed into field operations or distributed to Asnaf.
If a donation was made in error (such as an unintended duplicate charge or unauthorized card use), the donor must notify SWA within 7 calendar days with proof of transaction. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded to the original payment method after deducting gateway processing charges.
When donating Zakat, the donor authorizes Sunbulah Welfare Association to act as an agent (*Wakil*) to identify deserving, eligible recipients (*Asnaf*) and distribute the funds according to Islamic Shariah.
SWA's Shariah committee oversees the direct transfer of ownership (*Tamlik*) to the beneficiaries to ensure the religious validity of the donor's Zakat obligation.
In rare circumstances where a designated appeal is over-subscribed or project execution is rendered unfeasible due to local governmental, climatic, or logistical constraints, SWA reserves the right to apply the donation to the closest related humanitarian project of equal or greater need under the guidance of our Shariah and executive board.
All logos, branding, project reports, articles, photographs, and video recordings published on the SWA website are the intellectual property of Sunbulah Welfare Association. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes or unauthorized fundraising campaigns without explicit written permission.
All volunteers, field coordinators, and institutional partners representing SWA are bound to uphold absolute neutrality, non-discrimination, moral integrity (Akhlaq), and respect for local cultural norms.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through mutual consultation (Shura) and amicable arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
