OVERVIEW
A sacrifice shared becomes a blessing multiplied.
Qurbani is a cherished Islamic tradition that embodies the values of sacrifice, devotion, generosity, and compassion. It is also an opportunity to share the blessings of Eid-ul-Adha with families and communities who may rarely have access to meat.
Recognizing the importance of sharing and caring for those in need, Sunbulah Welfare Association (SWA), Bangladesh, implements the Qurbani Project to provide Qurbani animals and distribute their meat among poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged families across different communities in Bangladesh.
Through the generous contributions of donors and well-wishers, SWA arranges Qurbani animals and facilitates the distribution of meat to families who face financial hardship and are unable to afford meat regularly. The initiative enables beneficiaries to enjoy nutritious food and participate in the happiness and blessings of Eid-ul-Adha with greater dignity.
The project gives particular importance to reaching low-income families, vulnerable households, and communities where food insecurity is a significant challenge. By distributing Qurbani meat directly to those in need, SWA helps ensure that the spirit of sacrifice and generosity reaches people from all walks of life.
Beyond food assistance, the Qurbani Project strengthens community solidarity, compassion, and social inclusion. It creates a meaningful connection between donors and beneficiary families, allowing the blessings of Qurbani to be shared with people who need support the most.
SWA is committed to implementing the project responsibly and ensuring that Qurbani animals and meat reach deserving beneficiaries in an organized and respectful manner. Every contribution helps transform the sacred act of sacrifice into tangible support for families experiencing hardship.
The Qurbani Project is more than the distribution of meat—it is about sharing blessings, nourishing families, strengthening communities, and spreading the spirit of compassion and generosity during Eid-ul-Adha.
